Current Weather Conditions in Rockport, TXTropical Storm Alex Updates Monday, June 28, 2010: According to the National Weather Service (NOAA) the storm is forecast to hit Northern Mexico on Wednesday night or Thursday morning. The Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce issued a report at 4:00 today that all Fourth of July activities will happen as scheduled. Tuesday, June 29, 2010: The report from the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in Rockport: Rockport is outside of the of the error cone for Hurricane Alex. We are expecting winds 30 - 35 mph Wed. night and 30 - 40 mph Thurs. with possible gusts to 50 mph and heavy rains. These winds are common for this area. The weekend is supposed to be beautiful and all activities will happen as scheduled. Thursday July 1, 2010: Hurricane Alex has moved through. Rockport experienced rain and minor winds.
