Come learn about Texas Maritime history at the Texas Maritime museum!  This museum has both permanent and touring exhibits.  The permanent exhibits are related to the themes of exploration and settlement, oil and gas exploration image, commercial and sports fishing, and boat and shipbuilding.  The latest temporary exhibit is on the history of shrimping and includes photos, videos, and even a shrimp boat cabin mock-up that is fun for the children.
